As the Owner and Principal Planner for the Firm, Janet has demonstrated on numerous occasions the ability to engage and satisfy complex planning and design issues.  She has founded her practice on the conviction that the success of any business operation is based on the working comfort and efficiency of its staff. Her extreme sensitivity to the needs and desires of the end users is central to her work with furniture, with personal technology in its many forms, and with ergonomics.  She has worked hand-in-hand with major furniture manufacturers to identify and satisfy project-related furniture system needs.  Her perceptions of the process of workplace modification have been published.  As an active design professional, and now as a space consultant, Janet’s work has been a critical element in multi-disciplined design teams, as a designer, and as a tenant advocate.  

Dalrymple & Associates is a professional design firm with studios located at 3649 13th Avenue West, Seattle, WA  98119.  The Firm has been established as a sole proprietorship under Washington State law.  Dalrymple & Associates has established itself as a vital design resource, founded on the understanding and use of space as it applies to the development of our working and living environments.  The success of the D/A Design Process has been exhibited time and again on projects of widely varying scope – corporate and public agency interior design and space planning – commercial building rehabilitation – multifamily affordable housing – all have benefited from the careful, hands-on, creative attention that has been developed over more than 20 years of professional practice.  

A State-of-Washington registered architect, and a member of the A.I.A., Bob brings to any project a keen awareness of the tools, functionality, and logistical relationships inherent in today’s technology-rich design and construction projects.  As the director of the Firm’s CAD design/production processes, he can carefully guide the processes and products.  As an extension of his technology responsibilities, Mr. Dalrymple leads the D/A Illustration group as Sr. Computer Modeler and Illustrator.  He has demonstrated expertise in both manual and computer-generated illustration.  His work with computer-based animation dates back to the early 1990’s with the Ownership of Dalmation Graphics - a broadcast-quality computer animation company.  Animation product is augmented by full video production services (audio, music, video editing) to complete the visualization offerings.
